Today marks 2 years since Frozen was released in theaters. The movie is still a huge hit in our house, and judging by all the Frozen merchandise in stores this Holiday season, I have a feeling my daughter is not alone.
When shopping with my 3 year old we always inevitably end up in the princess filled aisle so she can check out all the latest and greatest in dolls and dresses. While checking everything out on a recent shopping trip, she was immediately drawn to this “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” Jewelry Box* by Jakks Pacific.
This adorable music box features child version of the sisters swaying back and forth as they build the lovable Olaf. At the touch of a button Elsa and Anna begin moving and a verse from the popular song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman” plays along. This will be a nice reprieve from the constant stream of “Let It Go” from the singing Elsa doll in our house.
The drawer is the perfect spot to store all those small treasures, including the heart shaped ring included. My son will be giving the jewelry box to his sister this Christmas so for an added surprise he and I have snuck in a Frozen themed bracelet and necklace set.
Rated for ages 3+ I love how easy this music box is to operate. We have a more traditional music box, but my daughter is forever having to ask me to help wind it before she can hear the music and watch the princess twirl. Watching her excitedly push the button through the packaging and singing along loudly in store, I know she will have no issues with it at home.
Besides being super cute, I also really like the price point of this item. With a MSRP of $24.99 it is a really great option for all the little Frozen lovers on your Christmas list. I can’t wait to see my daughter open this Christmas morning and I know it is going to look great on her dresser amongst the bedding and other Frozen themed merchandise in her bedroom.
