A wide selection of tutu’s and sparkly skirts have always been a staple in my 5 year old daughter’s wardrobe . Sometimes outfits are coordinated around the skirts, or often they are simply added on top of the outfit I have chosen for the day. Tutu’s are worn for almost any occasion or activity including school, birthday parties, bike riding, running through fountains or even hiking!
When it came time to add a few new pieces to her wardrobe this summer, I started at Walmart and was excited to come across a rack of George brand mesh tutu skirts. I was drawn to the pink and knew my daughter would love the layers of tulle and sparkles.
At only $8 (CDN) each, these are some of the cheapest tutu’s I have been able to find. The quality is great and they are almost identical to the H&M tulle skirt I have bought in the past for $14.99. I also spotted $7 versions in the baby and toddler departments, meaning these great skirts are available all the way from 3 months up to a girls size XL (16)
And, with Halloween just around the corner, I was thrilled last week to see this sparkly bat and spider blazoned version now out on the racks. I couldn’t resist snapping one up to add to my daughter’s ever growing collection!
