I absolutely LOVE the Disney/Pixar movie Up. It makes me tear up every time, but it is one of the few movies I could actually watch over and over and never get sick of. Plus, it has a bulldog in it so that ‘s always a good thing in my books!
I wasn’t planning to do an Up inspired look for our Disney World trip, but I fell down a rabbit hole on one of my Aliexpress searches and came across this colorful statement necklace and earring set that I was immediately drawn to. My love for the necklace grew exponentially when I realized the colorful teardrop shaped beads were much like the enormous bouquet of colorful balloons in Up.
As a backdrop for the new necklace, I went to the sky for inspiration. I found a light blue colored tank top that will be perfect in the Florida heat, and will be pairing it with white cloud inspired capri pants. This look is comfortable and easy for our adventures in the Disney Parks.
Aliexpress can be very hit and miss, but you can’t beat their prices. I ordered the resin bead statement necklace for just $3.06 (CDN) with free shipping from China to Canada. Sometimes it takes a good couple months to get your order, but it is well worth it if you can plan ahead. A lot of my Disney inspired outfits were pulled together inexpensively with items found on Aliexpress.
