Even though I knew I would be spending way too much time making our Pokémon themed pumpkins this week, I didn’t want my daughter to feel completely left out. When I saw a bag of tiny white pumpkins at the grocery store, I knew right away that they would make the perfect wheels for a quick and easy Cinderella Pumpkin Carriage.
I think the trickiest part of this pumpkin was figuring out how to attach the smaller pumpkin wheels onto the larger white pumpkin I had. Lucky for me my husband was willing to take on the drilling and attaching on the wheels, and then all that was left for me was to carve out a faux door and windows.
For the finishing touch, I hot glued a strand of small pearl beads in the frame of the door and as the reins at the coachman’s chair.
It is not an original idea by any means, but my little Cinderella fan loved it and kept wanting to play with her doll’s in it. If you have a princess lover in your life, this pumpkin is definitely a fun and easy option for Halloween.
And, for a simple idea for the boys, check out the Mario themed Bomb pumpkin I made a couple years ago.
