It has been very quiet here on my blog the past couple months. We got so busy camping, swimming and having fun with friends this summer that all plans for new posts kind of went to the wayside. One thing I knew I couldn’t skip out on planning, however, was our annual ice cream social with the neighbours.
This is our 4th year hosting an ice cream social for everyone in our cul de sac and the kids have really grown to love it. It is a great opportunity to get everyone together and it is always a lot of fun digging into the ice cream and chatting while the kids run around and play.
My Pop themed party featured a little something for everyone with a variety of soda flavors for the floats, as well as a fun little popcorn bar with DIY seasoning shakers. I switched things up this year from ice cream sundaes to ice cream floats and was happy to pull together an easy party that was also very friendly on the wallet.
You can head over to this link at Moms & Munchkins to see my guest post with all the fun Pop Party details.
And, in case you missed last year’s Peanut’s Ice Cream Party, it is also featured over on Moms & Munchkins.
