It is September so that means all things pumpkin spice are hitting the shelves! I do enjoy pumpkin spice, but I think the craze has gotten slightly out of hand. I normally try to glaze over the various new limited edition pumpkin spice flavored items, but when I spotted this in the liquor store flyer I was willing to make an exception:
I do love me a good PSL and the idea of being able to recreate a similar taste at home definitely appealed to me. I have tried DIY versions of pumpkin spice creamers and it is just not the same. I already enjoy the occasional Bailey’s Irish Cream in my coffee , so this just seemed like the perfect pairing. I was excited to get to the liquor store and grab one of the limited edition bottles to try in my coffee at home.
The hints of pumpkin flavour and spices really come through and complement the bold coffee, while the Bailey’s gives that familiar creaminess and touch of sweetness. My Saturday mornings just got a whole lot better this Fall now that I can brew up a quick cup of coffee and enjoy a pumpkin spice flavored treat at home in my pajamas.
